With reference to the earlier announcement dated February 09, 2012 regarding Fire at Factory, Mirc Electronics Ltd has now informed BSE that estimated loss on account of accidental fire in one of the Company's unit in Uttarakhand is to the tune of 57 Crores, which is covered by insurance to the extent of 100%.29-02-2012

Mirc Electronics Ltd has informed BSE that one of the factories of the Company located at Khasra No. 399 to 401 & 405 To 410, 158 Kms. Milestone, Delhi- Roorkee Highway-NH 58, Village- Mundiyaki Pargana-Manglour, Tehsil Roorkee, Dist- Haridwar (Uttaranchal)- 247670 was gutted down in fire in the night of February 08, 2012, The cause of fire, which broke out late evening is still not known. The plant is covered under insurance and the Company is assessing the extent of damage caused.09-02-2012
