Birla Corporation Ltd has informed BSE that the operations at the Company's Durgapur Cement Units have been affected on account of severe 'Tornado' on October 13, 2013, which damaged local High Tension line and pole structure. Damodar Valley Corporation along with the Company has initiated necessary action for restoration of power supply and it is expected that the supply will resume in 10-12 days time.
