What happens to my average price when I purchase stocks in one DP and transfer them to another?
The average price for the transferred stocks remains the same as per the purchase transaction in the first DP. When stocks are transferred between DPs, the acquisition cost (or average price) does not change; however, it’s important to track this price manually or through the platform, as different DPs may not update it automatically.
