Maruti Suzuki India released sales data for March. It reported sales of 1,87,196 units, including domestic sales.
Domestic sales stood at Rs 1,56,330 units compared to 1,36,787 units sold in the same month last year, which showed an increase of 14% on a YoY basis.
Other OEM sales are 4,974 units, and exports are 25,892 units. For FY24, the company posted its highest-ever total sales of 21,35,323 units. This includes domestic sales of 17,93,644 units and exports of 2,83,067 units.

Tata Motors Sales Data Update
On Monday, April 1, 2024, Tata Motors reported a 2% rise in total domestic sales at 90,822 units. In the same month last year, the company posted a sales of 89,351 units.
Tata Motors passenger vehicle sales, including EV in the domestic market stood at 50,297 units in March. Earlier, in the same month last year, it reported a sales of 44,225 units, up by 14%.
However, total commercial vehicles sales in the domestic market stood at 40,712 units down by 10% compared to 45,307 units in March 2023.

Mahindra & Mahindra Sales Data
Mahindra & Mahindra (M&M) reported on Monday total auto sales, including exports for March, which stood at 68,413 units.
In the utility vehicles segment, M&M sold 40,631 units in the domestic market as compared to 35,976 units in March 2023. Meanwhile, the domestic sales of commercial vehicles stood at 20,930 units.
However, the M&M three wheeler segment sales declined to 5,279 units in March 2024 compared to 5,697 units in the same month last year.
