Project awarded to Dilip Buildcon in Andhra Pradesh recalled
A Rs. 222.9 crore road project awarded to Dilip Buildcon in Andhra Pradesh for the upgradation of a new highway (NH216) has been recalled by the government because of the high bid price. Dilip Buildcon's order book now has 4% customers from the private sector, compared to 30% from the government as government orders in infrastructure have taken off, with aggressive government spending in roads and highways. The company has so far demonstrated strong completion of orders - bonuses for early completion on road projects constitute as much as 26.5% of the company's net profits over the last five years.31-01-2017
