STEEL STRIPS WHEELS LTD.-$ - 513262 - SSWL Receives New Orders For Close To Euro 150K From Europe & US

 SSWL has bagged firm exports orders for over 25,000 wheels for EU Caravan Trailer & US Mobile Home Market to be executed within July from its Chennai plant. This marks gradual re-start of operations in EU & US post COVID lockdown. Additional orders are expected in coming weeks from several other regular customers as the market begins to recover. SSWL expects to have 5% YOY growth in June 2020 in its Exports numbers from Chennai plant.

STEEL STRIPS WHEELS LTD.-$ - 513262 - SSWL Production Resumption Update.

 In line with production resumption at various plant of SSWL, this is to update that Tractor segment is now running at 90% capacity with seasoned demand coming to help the segment. We expect this to continue going ahead we reaching 90% plus capacity utilization. The export segment will report strong numbers in June and are expected to reach high single digit YoY volume growth. The MoM increase in orders stands at 60%. We will run exports at 2.5 Mn volume annual pace and we expect us to reach soon to 3.0 Mn annual pace with new orders rising from US and EU. This run rate is equal to pre Covid levels and we expect this to continue going ahead. The MoM increase in orders stands at 60%. Mehsana plant is expected to run at 50% capacity utilization in June with firm orders from Domestic car makers and this plant will be the first one to reach 70% plus utilization in coming months.

 SSWL has bagged firm exports orders for over 50,000 wheels for EU Caravan Trailer Market to be executed in July & August from its Chennai plant. This marks beginning of orders for new semester for this year indicating re-start of operations in EU post Covid lockdown. Additional orders for larger quantities are expected in coming weeks from several other regular customers. SSWL continues to be the market leader in steel wheels for the highly competitive EU Caravan wheels market which it entered just 5 years back.

STEEL STRIPS WHEELS LTD.-$ - 513262 - SSWL Plant Production Resumption (After Shutdown Due To COVID-19)

 This is to announce that SSWL has got approval to restart its Plant in Chennai, Dappar and Mehsana for production resumption. The plants will restart with 50% utilization and will cater to Exports and Domestic market demand. Chennai Plant is booked with order load of 50% capacity utilization with US and EU exports and we expect this to ramp up slowly with global Markets opening up for Automobile Production. We expect this rate of capacity utilization to improve going forward backed by Export orders and Mehsana Alloy wheel segment order book. Kindly take the same on your records for reference.

The movement in the share price of the Company is purely due to market conditions and absolutely market driven and the management of the Company is in no way connected with any such movement in price. Furthermore, the current market conditions are adversely affected by the on-going pandemic COVID-19 and pursuant to the latest government directive on the COVID-19 for countrywide lockdown till 14th April, 2020, all the plants of our company have been shut down. Consequently, it has adversely affected the industry.
