Infosys Enters 5-Year Partnership with “smart Europe GmbH”

Infosys, a global technology services and consulting company, has declared a strategic partnership with “smart Europe GmbH”, a premium EV (electric vehicle) manufacturer. The five-year collaboration aims to enhance Smart Europe’s direct-to-customer (D2C) business model in the European market.

Improving Digital Sales and Customer Experience

As part of the partnership, Infosys will work closely with “smart Europe GmbH” to boost digital sales and elevate the overall customer experience. This initiative involves leveraging cutting-edge technology solutions to redefine the online EV buying experience and employ state-of-the-art machine learning (ML) models for accurate sales and after-sales demand forecasting.

Expertise in Automotive Sales and E-Commerce Processes

Infosys was selected to assist the premium EV manufacturer due to its profound expertise in streamlining automotive sales and e-commerce processes and systems. The company aims to provide enhanced customer experiences, data-driven personalization, and engagement for existing EV models like smart #1, smart #3, and other upcoming all-electric models from the iconic brand.

About “smart Europe GmbH”

“smart Europe GmbH”, a wholly-owned subsidiary of “smart Automobile”, is responsible for supplying, selling, and servicing smart vehicles in the European market. “smart Automobile” is a JV (joint venture) between Zhejiang Geely Holding Group and Mercedes-Benz AG, established in 2019.

Efficient D2C Sales Approach

Infosys will facilitate “smart Europe GmbH” in efficiently selling electric vehicles across 15 European countries through a direct-to-customer sales approach. This approach covers various stages, including lead generation, prospect conversion, sales, and after-sales channels, all supported by end-to-end ownership and accountability.
