Despite a valid wage agreement, the Union at our Sukinda & Mahagirl Mines has ceased work from this morning after raising certain demands. We are studying their demands and shall look to resolve the situation at the earliest. There is adequate stock of chrome ore at our plant sites and we do not anticipate any disruption in production.
