This is to inform you that the Honourable Competition Commission of India has on 2.2.2022 released its Order against MRF Limited and four other Indian tyre manufacturers and also the Automotive Tyre Manufacturers Association, for breach of the Competition Act, 2002 during the year 2011-12. The Commission has imposed a penalty of Rs 622.09 crores on MRF Ltd. The Company has been advised that the order of the Commission is not based on a proper appreciation of facts and law and will accordingly take appropriate legal recourse in this matter.
