 This is with reference to your Notice no. LIST/COMP/Reg.27(2) & Reg. 17 to 21/June-19/523630/157/2019-20 dated 19.08.2019 regarding non-compliance of Regulation 17 (1) of SEBI (LODR),Regulations, 2015. The notice was placed before the Board in its 438th Meeting held on 18.09.2019. Board had detailed deliberations and observed that Company should again take up with the Department of Fertilizers (DoF) and Department of Public Enterprises (DPE) for appointment of adequate number of independent Directors on the Board of the Company and also to take up with SEBI for withdrawal of notices and waiver off fine. We again request you to withdraw the notice and waive off the fine and exempt NFL from compliance of Regulation 17 (1) of SEBI (LODR) Regulations.

 The company has issued the following Press Release: New Delhi - 04th October 'Breaking all previous records, NFL has achieved 27 Lakh MT fertilizer sales during Kharif 2019 (April - September) which is 25% higher than the previous year sale during this season. Urea sale increased by 20% and DAP sale by a whopping 80% during this period. Company imported around 5.73 Lakh MT of DAP, MoP, NPK, APS and Water Soluble Fertilizer which marketing team successfully supplied to the farmers. Commenting on the historic Kharif sales figures, Shri Manoj Mishra, C&MD; said that the company pushed big volumes of all types of fertilizers in this Kharif season and a highly inspired Marketing Team worked very hard to achieve this result.'

National Fertilizers Ltd - 523630 - Sale Of Fertilizers During Kharif, 2019.

 We have to inform you that Company had registered 27 lakh MT sale of all fertilizers during Kharif 2019 (April-September) for the first time in its history. This is 25% higher than that of corresponding period of last year (21.62 Lakh MT). This has been achieved despite lower production of own urea at Vijaipur Unit by 1.22 lakh MT during June-July, 2019 as compared to that of the corresponding period of last year due to technical problems.
