This is in continuation of our earlier intimation dated 1st June, 2021 informing about the EGM of the Members of the Company called by the requisitionists under Section*100 of the Companies Act, 2013 which was scheduled today i.e. June 23, 2021 at 10:00 AM. The Company consists of more than 5000 members as on date, thus under the provisions of Section 103(1 )(a)(iii) the quorum for its meetings is 30 members. At the scheduled time of 10:00 AM., there were 8 members present and the quorum was not met. In accordance with the provisions of Section 103(2), the quorum was reassessed at 10:30 AM., being half an hour from the time appointed for holding the meeting, but only 10 members were present. Since the requisite quorum was not present even at 10:30 AM., the EGM of the Members of the Company called by requisitionists under Section 100, was cancelled for want of quorum as stipulated under Section 103(2)(b) of the Companies Act,2013.
