With reference to the earlier announcement dated August 02, 2012 regarding setting up of a Cogen Plant at Company's Erode Sugar Mill at a Cost of Rs. 110 Crores, Ponni Sugars (Erode) Ltd has now informed BSE that Power production and feeding to grid has commenced from August 17, 2012 in the new Cogen Plant.
