This is in continuation to our earlier intimation dated 28th October, 2021, under Regulation 30 of SEBI (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2015, informing the Exchange about approval by the Board of Directors of the Company of expansion in its Capacity by installing 1.65 lakh equivalent spindles with a cost of about Rs. 1,400 crore (approx.). Now, in addition to the abovesaid capacity expansion, the Board of Directors of the Company in its meeting held today (i.e. 22nd January, 2022) has approved to further enhance the existing Spinning capacity of the Company by installing Vortex Machines equivalent 70,000 spindles (approx.) entailing a cost of around Rs. 600 crore (approx.). The details of the additional proposed capacity enhancement, as required under SEBI Circular no. CIR/CFD/CMD/4/2015 dated 9th September, 2015 are enclosed herewith.
