SSWL has bagged firm exports orders for over 119,000 wheels for US Caravan Trailer Market to be executed in the month of August from its Chennai plant. This is the largest monthly order from one customer and encompasses most of the developments we have done for the US market. As EU and US markets gain momentum after the slowdown of the pandemic, this appears as a major step towards acceleration of business activities and resuming normalcy. Inflow of more orders are expected to come from various other customers as the market gains stability. SSWL is delighted to inform that it has secured the order book for its alloy wheel plant with the help of domestic customer supply programs. The supply programs are signed off and the ramp up plan is already shared earlier till Mid of next year and regular update of the same will be provided on a half yearly basis on further ramp up. The order book visibility starts from 1 May 2020 and spreads over coming years till 2024-2025. This gives immense confidence to SSWL to expand its capacity of Alloy wheel plant in Mehsana to support the volume visibility of customer program. The total visibility of the order book for coming 5 years comes to approximately 3750Crs. The volume growth has the assumption of having the expanded capacity of SSWL Mehsana plant coming on stream in FY 20-21 End and the capacity with be 3.0Mn at the end of FY 20-21 to meet the committed volumes to customer and thereby helping us meet the extended demand of domestic customers by this capacity. SSWL achieved June 2020 total wheel rim sales of 6.46 Lacs Vs 11.28 Lacs in June 2019 representing a de-growth of 43% YoY. SSWL has achieved gross turnover of Rs 97.59 Crs in June 2020 Vs 168.34 Crs in June 2019, there by recording a de-growth of 42% and achieved Net turnover of Rs.82.76 Crs in June 2020 Vs Rs.139.54 Crs in June 2019, recording a de-growth of 41%. Tractor segment is operating at 100% utilization for June 2020 and is expected to run at 100% plus capacity utilization for coming 4 months.
