With reference to our intimation dated 11th Nov., 2022 regarding resumption of operations in the Mill at Saharanpur (UP) post incidence of fire, the stock exchange (NSE) sought further clarification vide e-mail dated 14th Nov., 2022. In this regard, our point-wise clarification is as under: 1. Insurance amount claimed and realized by the listed entity for the loss/damage The accident was reported to Insurance company immediately and survey was conducted by the Insurance company. An appropriate insurance claim has been lodged with the insurance provider. No claim amount is received yet. 2. The actual amount of damage caused due to the natual calamity or other force majeure events The fire caused due to short circuit. 3. Details of steps taken to restore normalcy and the impact of the natual calamity or other force majeure events on production or service, financials of the entity Production has been restored. The impact of loss of production is also covered in Insurance policy. A fire occurred in finishing house area of the Mills at Saharanpur (UP) at around 2.00 AM on 2nd Nov., 2022 which was controlled later on with the help of local administration. Exact reasons of fire are yet to be known. The company has the insurance policy and the accident has been reported to Insurance company. The extent of damage is being ascertained. The plant operations are temporarily suspended till clearance of spoiled/damaged materials from the site.
