RATNAMANI METALS & TUBES LTD.-$ - 520111 - Communication To The Shareholders Of The Company For The Deduction Of Tax At Source (TDS) On Dividend Payment During The Financial Year 2021-22 And Updation Of Their PAN, Email Address And Bank Account Details

 Pursuant to amendments introduced by the Finance Act, 2020, effective from April 1, 2020, the DDT is abolished, and the dividend income is now taxable in the hands of the Shareholders. The Co. is required to withhold tax at source from dividends paid to its Shareholders at the prescribed rates (plus applicable surcharge and cess), as may be notified from time to time. In this regards, please note that the Co has sent Email Communications to all the shareholders who had registered their email ID's with the Company / RTA / DP on June 24, 2021, about the intimation of change in the Income Tax Rules w.r.t. Tax Deduction on Dividend, elaborating the process to be followed along with the necessary annexures and also for the updation of their PAN, Email Address, Mobile Number and Bank Account details. Further, the Co. is in process of sending the aforesaid Communications in Physical mode to all those Shareholders who's email ID's are not registered with the Company / RTA / DP in due course.

 The Co. has fixed Monday, 20th September, 2021 as the Cut-off date to record the entitlement of the members/shareholders, to cast their vote electronically/remote e-voting, in respect of all the items of the Businesses as indicated in the Notice of the 37th AGM of the Co. to be held on 27th September, 2021, pursuant to the provisions of Section 108 of the Companies Act, 2013, the Rules framed thereunder read with Regulation 44 of the SEBI (LODR) Reg, 2015. The Co. would be availing e-voting facility from CDSL. The details are as follows: 1. Date and Time of commencement of e-voting: 24th Sept, 2021 (10.00 A.M.). 2. Date and Time of end of e-voting: 26th Sept, 2021 (5.00 P.M.). 3. E-voting by electronic mode shall not be allowed beyond 5.00 P.M. on 26th Sept, 2021. Consequently, the same cut-off date of i.e. 20th Sept, 2021 would also determine the members who do not cast their vote electronically, to cast their vote as may be required at the said AGM to be held on 27th Sept, 2021.
