Q3FY24 Quarterly Result Announced for Info Edge (India) Ltd.
Internet Software & Services company Info Edge (India) announced Q3FY24 results: In Q3FY24, Info Edge (India) recorded a 7.2% growth in Revenue from Operations on a standalone basis, reaching Rs 595.4 crore compared to Rs 555.2 crore in the same quarter of the previous fiscal year. The non-recruitment business verticals, including 99acres.com (real estate), Jeevansathi.com (matrimony), and Shiksha.com (education), continued their growth trajectory, achieving strong performances with YoY revenue growth rates of 21.8%, 23.0%, and 23.3%, respectively. Despite sluggishness in IT sector hiring, revenue from the recruitment business grew by 3.1% YoY. Billing for the quarter on a standalone basis increased by 4.8% YoY, amounting to Rs 576.9 crore. Info Edge maintained its operating profit margins at 36.7% of revenue and achieved a 7.0% growth in operating profit, which reached Rs 218.7 crore on a standalone basis for the quarter, compared to Rs 204.4 crore in Q3FY23. The standalone business generated cash from operations (before tax) of Rs 272.5 crore for the quarter, reflecting a growth of 12.7% YoY. During the results announcement, Hitesh Oberoi, Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer said, "The efficient execution in the 99acres and Jeevansathi businesses, which contributed to the top-line growth and helped reduce burn during the quarter. He also noted that while the non-IT hiring sector remained robust, the continued slowdown in IT hiring impacted Naukri's growth." Chintan Thakkar, Director and Chief Financial Officer, expressed satisfaction with the strong cash generation during the quarter. He noted that the operating cash in Q3FY24 grew by 12.7% YoY, resulting in a quarter-end cash balance of Rs 3,724 crore.
