Dear Sir / Madam, We hereby inform that at factory of Balaram Papers Pvt Ltd, (Located at Mehsana, Gujarat) Wholly Owned Subsidiary of Astron Paper & Board Mill Limited, fire took place at around 1 pm today. The Company has taken help from local fire fighter agencies. Fortunately, there has been no loss or injury to human life. The fire was controlled within the time causing the least effect on plant & machinery. Approx loss would be 3.5 Cr in waste paper (raw material) due to fire, and have already informed to the Insurance Company of the same. The Company is taking adequate steps to ensure re functioning of the plant at the earliest. Company will keep updating on concern subject.
