In continuation to the intimation made by the Company on 09" May, 2023 under the subject Outcome of Board Meeting, we wish to state that the date of Annual General Meeting of the members of the Company which was scheduled to be held on 21st July, 2023, is being postponed due to unavoidable circumstances to 26th July, 2023. Accordingly, the share transfer books of the Company will remain closed from Monday, 17th July, 2023 to Wednesday, 26th July, 2023 (both days inclusive) for the purpose of ensuing 50th Annual General Meeting and the final dividend of Rs.2/- (Rupees Two only) per equity share of Rupee 1/- each (ISIN INE631A01022) for the financial year ended 31st March, 2023 as a special dividend to commensurate the completion of 50 year of Shanthi Gears Limited being approved by the Members at the ensuing 50" Annual General Meeting , will be paid within 30 days from the date of the AGM (i.e., on or before 25t August, 2023). Shanthi Gears reports Q4 profit after tax of Rs 19.47 crore in Q4FY23
Gear and allied products manufacturer Shanthi Gears Ltd has reported profit after tax for the quarter ending March 31, 2023 of Rs 19.47 crore, the company said on Wednesday. The Tamil-Nadu-based company had registered profit after tax at Rs 12.22 crore during the corresponding quarter of the previous year. For the year ending March 31, 2023 the profit after tax stood at Rs 67.05 crore as against Rs 42.47 crore recorded in the same period last fiscal. Total income during the quarter under review surged to Rs 126.18 crore from Rs 105.92 crore registered in the corresponding period of last year. For the year ending March 31, 2023 the total income grew to Rs 456.89 crore from Rs 346.12 crore last year. In a press release, the company, which is a part of the diversified conglomerate Murugappa Group, said it continues to focus on four key priorities -- revenue growth, profitability, return on invested capital and free cash flow.
