Q3FY23 Quarterly Result Announced for Maruti Suzuki India Ltd.

Cars & utility vehicles manufacturer Maruti Suzuki India announced Q3FY23 results: Q3FY23: The company sold a total of 4,65,911 vehicles during the quarter. Sales in the domestic market were 4,03,929 units and exports were 61,982 units. Shortage of electronic components impacted production by about 46,000 vehicles in this quarter. This was against total sales of 4,30,668 units comprising 3,65,673 units in domestic and 64,995 units in export markets in Q3FY22. Pending customer orders stood at about 3,63,000 vehicles at the end of this quarter out of which about 1,19,000 orders were for newly launched models. The company registered net sales of Rs 2,78,492 million. During the same period previous year, the net sales were at Rs 2,21,876 million. The company recorded an operating profit in Q3FY23 of Rs 21,230 million as against Rs 9,190 million in Q3FY22. The net profit for the quarter rose to Rs 23,513 million from Rs 10,113 million in Q3FY22 9MFY23: The company sold a total of 14,51,237 units during the period. Sales in the domestic market stood at 12,56,623 units. Exports were at 1,94,614 units. During the same period previous year (9MFY22), the company registered a total sale of 11,63,823 units including 9,93,901 units in domestic market and 1,69,922 units in the export market. The company registered its highest ever net sales of Rs 8,16,790 million in Q3FY23 as against Rs 5,82,841 million in the same period, FY22.
