Sub : Update on factory operations - in the context of COVID-19 Pandemic. We are giving below an update on the factory operations, which was abruptly suspended / disrupted due to COVID-19 Pandemic. We have recommenced sugar production at our Unit-I at Theni District, Tamilnadu on 8th April 2020. We plan to start sugar production at Unit-II at Villupuram District, Tamilnadu on or before 14th April 2020. We have also obtained licence from The Director of Drugs Control, Tamilnadu, for manufacturing of Hand Sanitizers and the production started on 4th April 2020. The Company is taking various measures to ensure the health and safety of its employees and to comply with the directives being regularly issued by the Central and the State Government besides the local authorities.
