 This intimation is given under Regulation 30 of SEBI (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2015. We have been informed by our ultimate global holding Company that Clariant and SABIC have agreed to temporarily suspend the discussions on the intended business combination High Performance Materials (HPM). Further, it announced today about its decision to divest the entire Masterbatches business i.e., standard and high value Masterbatches, in addition to the divestment of Pigments business. These divestments are expected to be concluded by end 2020. The regional and country level implications of this strategic decision will be mapped out in course of the next few months. The Company will keep the regulatory bodies, authorities & the stakeholders updated on this matter.
