IIFL Securities announced Q2FY23 results: Total Income stood at Rs 323.4 crore for the quarter (up 10% QoQ) and Rs 618.2 crore for the half year (up 5% YoY) Total Comprehensive Income stood at Rs 55.3 crore for the quarter (up 31% QoQ) and Rs 97.4 crore for the half year (down 30% YoY) Assets under management and custody stood at Rs. 1,18,644 crore (up 6% QoQ) R. Venkataraman, Managing Director, commented on the financial results: “Broking business has started gaining momentum and is expected to grow in the second half of financial year. It was a good quarter for our investment banking segment with 6 completed transactions. This is in continuation to our earlier intimation dated December 06, 2021 wherein it was informed that the Company had executed a binding Term Sheet on December 06, 2021 with M/s. Rajen Chandrakant Securities Private Limited (RCSPL) and its existing shareholders for the acquisition of 100% stake in RCSPL, subject to requisite regulatory approvals. Requisite application was made in this regard. However, due to the delay in receiving such approval both the parties have mutually agreed not to go ahead with the aforesaid transaction.
