We, with deep regret, inform the sad demise of our Chairman Shri B.K. Birla on 3rd July, 2019. Shri B.K. Birla was on the Board of the Company since its incorporation (i.e. 1965). The Company was formed with keen personal interest of Shri B.K. Birla in collaboration with Algemene Kunstzijde Unie N.V., The Netherlands and Glanzstoff AG of Germany, (later became part of Akzo Nobel) the then leading technology providers of Nylon. In his passing away, the country lost a visionary, an entrepreneur, a leading industrialist and philanthropist and the Company lost in him a leader who had inspired everyone for excellence.
