 With reference to our earlier intimation dated 21.03.2020, this is to inform that the Board of Directors of Bank has approved the following proposals through Circular resolution on 26.03.2020. 1) Raising of Equity Capital for an amount aggregating to Rs.831/- Crore (including premium) through issue of equity shares of Bank to Government of India on Preferential basis. 2) Approval of Shareholders of the Bank to be obtained through Postal ballot process for Preferential issue. We request you to consider the above information pursuant to the Regulation 30 of the SEBI (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2015.

 We would like to inform you that Government of India vide its Letter dated 17.03.2020 had informed about its decision to infuse Capital of Rs.831/- crore (Rupees Eight Hundred and Thirty One Crore only) in Bank. Bank had received the Capital of Rs.831/- crore on 20.03.2020 and same will be kept in Share Application Money A/c till all allotment formalities are completed. Bank will take all necessary approvals/ permissions from Shareholders/ Regulatory authorities for Preferential allotment of Equity shares of Bank to Government of India (GoI) in due course of time.
