ASHOKA BUILDCON LTD. - 533271 - Expiry Of Concession Period - Handing Over Of The Toll Project At Wainganga Bridge

 Ashoka Buildcon Limited (the Company) hereby informs that its Associate Company viz. Abhijeet Ashoka Infrastructure Private Limited (SPV), implementing the Project viz. Construction of Bridge & its approaches across Wainganga River in Km. 491/100 of Nagpur - Raipur Road Section NH 6 in Bhandara under BOT (with Toll Rights) on behalf of Govt. of Maharashtra, Office of Executive Engineer, National Highway Division, Public Works Dept. (the Authority). The SPV has handed over the Project back to the Authority on September 28, 2023, after the expiry of the Concession Period successfully as per the terms of the Concession Agreement / Arbitration Awards. The average daily toll collection was around Rs. 11 Lakhs. However, the toll income was not recognized as Revenue as the matter is sub-judice.

 In continuation to our letter dated September 08, 2023, we write to inform you that a rectified version of our Annual Report for the fiscal year ended March 31, 2023 is submitted herewith. This rectified report incorporates rectification to a sub-total error that was identified subsequent to the filing of the original Annual Report. The error in question was identified during the review of the Board's Report presented at our 30th Annual General Meeting (AGM). There was a total error on page no. 37 (printed page no. 29) of the Annual Report in the table regarding 'Projects Update', which is to be read as Rs.2,492.53 Crore in place of Rs.3,244.20 Crore. The rectified Board's Report with corrected sub-total, accurately reflecting the 'Projects Update' of the company, has been adopted at the aforementioned AGM.

 Ashoka Buildcon Limited ("the Company") informs the declaration of September 08, 2023 as the Commercial Operations Date (CoD) for its Hybrid Annuity Mode Project of National Highways Authority of India ("NHAI") vide letter issued by Independent Engineer on September 26, 2023 for the Project viz. "Four Laning of Tumkur - Shivamogga section from 66+540 (Design km 65+195) (Karadi) to km 119+790 (Design km 121+900) (Banwara) of NH-206 on Hybrid Annuity Mode under NHDP Phase-IV in the state of Karnataka (Package-II) (Project). The Project is executed by Ashoka Karadi Banwara Road Private Limited (SPV), a Wholly Owned Subsidiary of Ashoka Concessions Limited, a Subsidiary of the Company. Further to inform that consequent upon the declaration of COD, the SPV is eligible for receipt of Annuity payments from NHAI for the operation period of 15 years at the interval of every 6 months from the date of achievement of CoD.
