Temporary shut-down for maintenance work
Goa Carbon Ltd has informed BSE that the operations at the Company's Paradeep Plant located at Vill. Udayabata, Paradeepgarh, Dist. Jagatsinghpur, Orissa has been temporarily shut down for regular maintenance work.There would not be any financial impact due to the maintenance shutdown of the Company's Paradeep Unit as there are sufficient inventories to service the orders in hand. Goa Carbon Ltd has informed BSE that the operations at the Companys Bilaspur Plant located at 34-40, Sector B, Sirgitti Industrial Area, Bilaspur (Chattisgarh) has been temporarily shut down from August 21, 2015 on account of the inventory of finished material.There would not be any financial impact due to the temporary shutdown of the Companys Bilaspur Unit. With reference to the earlier announcement dated July 21, 2015 about the temporary shut-down at the Companys Goa Plant located at St. Jose de Areal, Salcete-Goa, Goa Carbon Ltd has now informed BSE that the operations at the aforesaid unit have since resumed from August 15, 2015.There would not be any financial impact due to the brief shutdown of the Companys Goa Unit as there were sufficient inventories to cater to the orders in hand.
