 In terms of Regulation 30 of SEBI Listing Regulations, we wish to inform you that the Company has on April 01, 2021, made an investment in 26% of the equity shares of HR Kaveri Private Limited, a special purpose vehicle formed by Hinduja Renewable Energy Private Limited for the purpose of power generation and developing a captive power plant in Karnataka as per Electricity laws. Other details as required to be disclosed under aforesaid Regulation 30 read with clause 1 of Para A of Annexure I of SEBI Circular dated September 9, 2015, are enclosed as 'Annexure A'. Syngene International Ltd - 539268 - Interim Disbursements From Insurer Towards The Loss From Fire Incident Reported In December 2016

 The Company had intimated to the Stock Exchanges on December 13, 2016 with respect to the fire incident that occurred in the Company premises on December 12, 2016, wherein certain assets were damaged. The Company has since recorded a loss of Rs. 105.70 crore and recognized a minimum insurance claim for the equivalent amount in its books as detailed in Note 35 of the Standalone Financial Statements of the Company for financial year 2019-20. The Insurer has vide its letter dated March 29, 2021 confirmed an approval for an additional interim payment of Rs. 35 crore, of which an amount of Rs. 24.5 crore has been disbursed to the Company. The total interim amounts approved till date aggregate to Rs. 212.00 crore of which Rs. 201.5 crore has been received and balance will be received in due course. The Company is in the process of determining and lodging its final claim for the loss of assets and business interruption. This is for your information and records.

 With reference to the Form C filed by the Company on Tuesday, February 09, 2021, we wish to inform you that the exercised ESOP Shares (3704 Equity Shares), which were supposed to be transferred to the employee's demat account on Friday, February 05, 2021, was processed incorrectly by the Depository Participant of the Syngene Employee Welfare Trust and the said Shares, though transferred by the Trust were not reflecting in the employee's demat account till February 17, 2021. In this regard, we are submitting the revised Form C considering the actual date of credit of the shares into the employee's demat account and intimation by employee to the Company.
