Pursuant to Regulation 30 of SEBI (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2015, as amended from time to time, this is with reference to the Company's insurance claim pertaining to fire accident that occurred at the Company's plant at Yanam on 27.01.2012 and the arbitration proceedings initiated against National Insurance Company Limited ('Insurance Company') with respect to Insurance Company's deductions made in the assessment and settlement of the insurance claim. In this regard, we hereby inform that the Hon'ble Arbitrator has pronounced an award in favor of the Company with an aggregate amount of Rs. 157,01,69,000 (Rupees One Hundred and fifty seven crores one lakh and sixty nine thousand only) plus applicable interest from the date of award till the date of payment. It is also to be noted that the Insurance Company has the right to recourse against this award as per the provisions of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996.
