 Pursuant to Regulation 31A (8) of the SEBI LODR Regulations, this is to inform that consequent to the sale of its entire equity shareholding held in Swaraj Engines Limited ('SEL / the Company') by Kirloskar Industries Limited ('KIL') and now having 0.00% shareholding and voting rights in SEL, the Company is in receipt of letter dated 11th November, 2022 from KIL requesting its re-classification from 'Promoter' category to 'Public' category shareholders of the Company in accordance with Regulation 31A of the SEBI LODR Regulations. The copy of the request letter received is attached herewith. The necessary steps will be undertaken by the Company in compliance with Regulation 31A of the SEBI LODR Regulations.

Q2FY23 Quarterly Result Announced for Swaraj Engines Ltd.

 Automobiles & auto parts manufacturer Swaraj Engines announced Q2FY23 results: Q2FY23: The Q2FY23 engine sales for the current fiscal reached 36,792 units, up 4.3% over last year's sales of 35,291 units. The operating profit for Q2FY23 crossed Rs. 50 crore mark for the second time in a row and stood at Rs. 50.51 crore compared to Rs. 47.74 crore during the corresponding Q2FY22. The net operative revenue for the Q2FY23 stood at Rs. 384.75 crore (last year Rs. 343.59 crore). The PBT for Q2FY23 was Rs. 48.31crore (Q2FY22 Rs. 45.31 crore) - up 6.6% The PAT stood at Rs. 35.88 crores (last year Rs. 33.77 crore) - up 6.2%. H1FY23: The H1FY23 recorded an engine sales volume of 75,220 units, the highest ever H1FY23 engine sales compared to the H1FY22 sales of 69,038 units. The net operating revenue of Rs. 783.10 crore (H1FY22 Rs. 658.30 crores) for the said period The Company H1FY23 PST crossed Rs. 100 crore mark for the first time and stood at Rs. 101.43 crore (H1FY22 Rs. 90.46 crore).
