 GKB OPHTHALMICS LTD.has informed BSE that the meeting of the Board of Directors of the Company is scheduled on 14/02/2023 ,inter alia, to consider and approve the Unaudited Financial Results of the Company for the quarter and nine months ended December 31, 2022. The Notice can be accessed at the Company''s website at www.gkb.net Further, notice is hereby given with reference to the above meeting of the Board of Directors, that the Trading Window for dealing with equity shares of the Company, by designated persons, under the SEBI (Prohibition of Insider Trading) Regulations, 2015, has been closed from January 01, 2023 till the completion of 48 hours after the declaration of the said financial results of the Company. GKB OPHTHALMICS LTD. - 533212 - Intimation Under Regulation 30 Of The Securities And Exchange Board Of India (SEBI) (Listing Obligations And Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2015 - Imposition Of Anti-Dumping Duty On Import Of Semi Finished Ophthalmic Lenses.

 Pursuant to Regulation 30 of SEBI (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2015, we would like to inform that the Ministry of Finance (Department of Revenue), Government of India, vide its Notification No. 32/2022-Customs (ADD) dated December 27, 2022, in the matter of 'semi-finished ophthalmic lenses', falling under chapter heading 9001 of the First Schedule to the Customs Tariff Act, 1975 (51 of 1975), imposed an anti-dumping duty. The anti-dumping duty imposed shall be effective for a period of five years from the date of publication of this notification in the Official Gazette and should be payable in Indian currency on semi finished lenses originating or exported from China PR. The Company which is a manufacturer of Semi finished ophthalmic lenses, is of the opinion that the said Notification provides insufficient remedy to the issue of the industry and hence, the Company has decided to go for an appeal.  We refer to your email Ref: L/SURV/ONL/PV/KS/2022-2023/2921 dated January 02, 2023, seeking clarification, on significant movement in the share price of our Company, in the recent past. In order to enable the investors to make well informed investment decisions, the Company has been making to the Exchange, adequate & accurate disclosures of all material events, information, etc., from time to time, that have a bearing on operation/ performance of the Company which includes all price Sensitive Information as per Regulation 30, of SEBI (Listing Obligations & Disclosure Requirements) Regulation, 2015. There are media reports regarding imposition of Anti Dumping Duty on import of Semi finished Ophthalmic Lenses from China, however, we have not received the official gazetted copy & we cannot comment on the media reports. The Company has no pending announcements that may have a bearing on price/volume behavior script that is pending disclosure, to the stock exchange at this point of time.
