Pursuant to the provisions of Regulation 30 of Securities and Exchange Board of India (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2015, we would like to inform you that The Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA) announced on December 17, 2020 has initiated investigations with respect to the alleged dumping and subsidizing of certain grinding media from India the subject matter. This investigation is initiated on a complaint filed by Magotteaux Limitee, located in Magog, Quebec. Company, through its overseas subsidiary, Vega Industries Ltd, has sold approx. 25,000 Mt of high chrome grinding media in last reported 12 months to its customers in Canada. The Company is reviewing the matter and will be taking appropriate steps for defending its position; and will fully co-operate with CBSA in its investigation. The Company will keep the stock exchanges posted on further material developments in this matter.18-12-2020

In Continuation of our earlier intimation dated 1st September, 2020, we would like to update you that our Subsidiary Company, Welcast Steels Limited (WSL), in the hope of revival of the economy, has decided to continue the Manufacturing Operations at its Industrial Establishment ('Factory') situated at Plot No. 15, Phase-1, Peenya Industrial Area, Bengaluru 560 058 and withdraw its Closure Notices filed, pursuance to Section 25-FFA of the Industrial Dispute Act, 1947 (XIV of 1947) on 31st August, 2020 with the concerned Authorities to close its Industrial Establishment ('Factory') effective from 2nd November, 2020.
