AIA ENGINEERING LTD. - 532683 - Intimation Under Regulation 30 Of SEBI (Listing Obligations And Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2015 - Update Related To On-Going Investigation By Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA)
Pursuant to Regulation 30 of SEBI (LODR), Regulation 2015 & in continuation of earlier intimations, wherein we had informed that based on complaint filed by Magotteaux Limittee, located in Magog Quebec, The Canada Border Service Agency (CBSA) had investigated the allegation of dumping and subsidizing of certain grinding media from India and had proposed final duty of 22.00% on certain grades of grinding media exported from India subject to the final determination by Canadian International Trade Tribunal (CITT) with respect to the injury/damage to the domestic industry. Now on 27th August, 2021, CITT has made its determination in favour of the domestic industry in Canada. However, CITT has excluded the supply of the subject goods to Cement Industry from aforesaid finding & conclusion and hence, the proposed final duty of 22.00% will not be applicable to Grinding Media supplied to the Cement Industry (The Company made sales of 1353 Metric Tonnes to Cement industry in Canada in FY 2021)28-08-2021
