RICO AUTO INDUSTRIES LTD. - 520008 - Regulations 30 Of SEBI (Listing Obligations And Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2015 - Intimation Regarding Lay Off Of Workmen From It'S Manufacturing Plant Located At Dharuhera

 Pursuant to the above clause, we wish to inform that RICO had introduced VRS (Voluntary Retirement Scheme) for its permanent associates in aforesaid Dharuhera Manufacturing Plant in October, 2019 to rationalize manpower based on business demand with the objective of sustaining plant operation. Only 42 associates out of 208 took the VRS. To run the plant on a sustainable basis Company needed to reduce the manpower substantially, by another 119 persons. It is for this objective of viability of the plant that 119 workmen have been laid-off w.e.f 22nd May 2020. The above-mentioned workmen who have been laid off shall be paid compensation as per the provisions of Section 25C of the Industrial Dispute Act, 1947. This is for your information and record.

 We wish to inform that in view of the impact of COVID-19 pandemic on the Automotive Sector and in the best interest of the Company, the Promoter Executive Directors of the Company i.e., Shri Arvind Kapur, Chairman, CEO & Managing Director and Shri Arun Kapur, Joint Managing Director of the Company have voluntarily renounced their following entitled remuneration: 1. Entire (100%) remuneration for the months of April, 2020, May, 2020 and June, 2020 i.e. first quarter of the financial year 2020-2021; 2. 35% of the remuneration for the remaining nine months during the financial year 2020-2021; 3. Commission, if any, for the financial year 2019-2020. The Board of Directors after considering the recommendation of Nomination & Remuneration Committee by way of Circular Resolution passed on 1st May, 2020, have approved the proposal of the Promoter Executive Directors to voluntarily renounce their remuneration as stated above.

 We had vide our letter No. RAIL:SEC:2020, dated 31st March, 2020 informed you about closure of operations at our various Plants and Subsidiary Companies due to COVID-19 outbreak. We now wish to inform you that the following plants of the Company have got permission, under the revised guidelines from the concerned authorities, to start operation with due stipulations: 1. Dharuhera Plant for Double Shift 2. Bawal Plant for Double Shift 3. Halol Plant for Single Shift 4. Haridwar Plant I for Three Shifts 5. Haridwar Plant II for Three Shifts 6. Pathredi Plant for Single Shift The following Subsidiary Companies have also got permission to start operation: 1. Rasa Autocom Limited, Bawal for Double Shift 2. Rico Fluidtronics Limited, Manesar for Single Shift The production will start at the plants within one/two days after complying with the necessary rules, guidelines and instructions given by the authorities.
