Pursuant to the provisions of the Income-tax Act, 1961 (''the Act''), as amended by the Finance Act, 2020, dividend shall be taxable in the hands of the Shareholders w.e.f. April 01, 2020. The Company is therefore required to deduct tax at source on the 2nd Interim dividend declared on 13th September, 2022, as already intimated to the stock exchanges.
