 GACL has recently completed various new Projects for producing new chemicals & expanding the capacities of current product lines. The Company has from time to time informed the Stock Exchanges on updates on commissioning of :- 105,000 TPA Chloromethanes Project at Dahej, 10,000 TPA Hydrazine Hydrate Project at Dahej, 173,250 TPA Caustic Soda Expansion at Dahej and 267,000 TPA New Caustic Soda Plant with 130 MW Thermal Power Plant at Dahej, put-up as a joint venture between GACL and NALCO. We would now like to inform that today i.e. 10.10.2022, the Hon''ble Prime Minister has dedicated all the above Plants to the Nation during the function organized by Gujarat Industrial Development Corporation (GIDC) at Amod, Bharuch. With the implementation of the above projects, the Company is proud to have taken major step towards 'Atmanirbhar Bharat' - a vision of the Hon'ble Prime Minister of India for making India a self-reliant nation in Chemical sector.

 The 49th Annual General Meeting (AGM) of the Members of Gujarat Alkalies and Chemicals Limited ('the Company') was held on Thursday, the 29th September 2022 at 11.30 a.m. through Video Conference. All the Resolutions contained in the Notice of the above AGM were approved by requisite majority of Members through remote e-Voting and e-Voting during the AGM. Accordingly, all the Resolutions are declared to be passed on 29th September 2022.  Ref.: Our letters dated 24.03.2015, 27.05.2016, 07.12.2018, 09.11.2021 & 03.03.2022 The Company has, from time to time, informed the Stock Exchanges about updates on 10,000 TPA (80%) Hydrazine Hydrate Project, with forward integration to Hydrogen Peroxide, for the manufacturing of an import substitute at Dahej Complex. In this regard, we would like to further inform that the process for manufacturing of Hydrazine Hydrate has been started at Dahej Complex by feeding the raw materials to the process equipment on 26th September, 2022. The Finished product is expected in due course of time as the process proceeds.
