 In continuation to our intimation dated 02/07/2021, regarding restoration of Unit - 2 (125 MW) of Surat Lignite Power Plant (SLPP) of the Company situated at Village Nani Naroli, Taluka Mangrol, District: Surat, we would like to submit further update in the matter as follows: 1.Expected quantum of loss/damage caused: The amount of Material Damage is around Rs.6.16 crores and the amount of Loss of Profit accounted for in the books during F.Y 2020-21 is around Rs.17.25 crores and the same to be accounted for in the books of accounts in the current year, i.e. FY 2021-22 is around Rs.9.95 crores. 2.Whether loss/damage covered by insurance or not including amount: The Company''s property is covered for both, material damage and loss of profit, under Industrial All Risk Policy and therefore, the aforesaid material damage and the loss of profit, both are covered under Insurance.  We refer to our Letter No. SEC:REGU30:2021: dated 30/01/2021, wherein it was intimated to your good exchange that GIPCL is operating 4x125 MW Power Plant at Surat Lignite Power Plant (SLPP) and SLPP Unit-2 was under Forced Shutdown from 16/12/2020, 23:33 hours due to major technical snag in Economizer Beams. With reference to the same and pursuant to the Regulation 30(3) read with Para B of Part A of Schedule III of the SEBI (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2015 (LODR), we would like to hereby update as under: After completion of Economizer Beams replacement and other associated works Unit-2 has been synchronized with grid (restored) on 01.07.2021 at 23.08 hours.
