Q2FY23 Quarterly Result Announced for Hero MotoCorp Ltd.
Hero MotoCorp announced Q2FY23 results: Q2FY23: Volume – 14.28 lakh units of motorcycles and scooters sold in Q2FY23. Revenue from operations – Rs. 9,075 Crore, a growth of 7.4% over the corresponding Q2FY22. Profit Before Tax (PBT) - Rs. 964 Crore Profit After Tax (PAT) - Rs.716 Crore H1FY23: Volume – 28.18 lakh units of motorcycles and scooters sold in H1FY23 Revenue from operations – Rs.17,468 Crore, a growth of 25.3% over the corresponding H1FY22 Earnings Before Interest, Tax, Depreciation, & Amortization (EBITDA) for the H1FY23 stood at Rs. 1,979 Crore Profit Before Tax (PBT) - Rs. 1,787 Crore Profit After Tax (PAT) - Rs. 1,341 Crore Mr. Niranjan Gupta, Chief Financial Officer (CFO), of Hero MotoCorp, said “The Indian economy has continued to outperform the global growth supported by its relatively more robust fundamentals, and the return of its strong domestic consumption since the re-opening of all the sectors post covid. A healthy festive period demand across most categories, specifically in the auto sector, has demonstrated that the underlying propensity to spend has gone up. Consumer confidence is coming back, which augurs well for growth momentum moving forward Our Results reflect our continued financial discipline, focusing on cost savings and capital allocation on one hand while ensuring the premiumisation of our portfolio on the other. The X tec Variants launched across all key models have been received by the customers very well. The global macro headwinds may keep the playfield a bit uncertain, and navigating the same over the next few quarters will be important. Hero MotoCorp reports dip in wholesale by 17% at 454,582 units in Oct
The country's largest two-wheeler maker Hero MotoCorp on Tuesday reported a 17 per cent dip in its total sales at 4,54,582 units last month as compared with 5,47,970 units in October 2021. In the domestic market the company's dispatches to dealers stood at 4,42,825 units, down 16 per cent from 5,27,779 units in the year-ago period. "With festivals of Dussehra and Diwali -- which triggers record retail buying -- occurring in the month of October this year, the dispatch sales of October are not comparable to the previous years, when the festival days are usually spread across the months of October and November," the two-wheeler major noted. Exports stood at 11,757 units as against 20,191 units in October 2021.01-11-2022
