 Following two wholly owned subsidiaries of PFC Consulting Limited (PFCCL) (a wholly subsidiary of Power Finance Corporation Limited) has been Struck off from the Register of Companies and the said companies are dissolved on 13.01.2023. 1. SHONTONG-KARCHAM-WANGTOO TRANSMISSION LIMITED (SKWTL) 2. TANDA TRANSMISSION COMPANY LIMITED (TTCL) Necessary documents were filed with the Registrar of Companies for striking off and dissolution of SKWTL & TTCL from the records of Registrar. Now, MCA vide its 'Notice of Striking off and Dissolution' dated 13.01.2023 has published that pursuant to sub-section (5) of Section 248 of the Companies Act, 2013 the name of M/s SHONGTONG KARCHAM-WANGTOO TRANSMISSION LIMITED and TANDA TRANSMISSION COMPANY LIMITED has 13th day of January 2023 been struck off the register of companies and the said Company is dissolved.

POWER FINANCE CORPORATION LTD. - 532810 - Strike Off From The Register Of Companies Of M/S Chhattisgarh Surguja Power Limited On January 11, 2023, A Wholly Owned Subsidiary Of Power Finance Corporation Limited

 This is to inform that Chhattisgarh Surguja Power Limited (CSPL), a wholly owned subsidiary of PFC has been Struck off from the egister of Companies and the said company is dissolved on 11.01.2023. CSPL was incorporated on 10.02.2006 as wholly owned subsidiary of PFC for development of 400 MW Ultra Mega Power Projects in the State of Chhattisgarh. Subsequently, MoP vide their letter 06.06.2016 directed to take necessary action for closure of the Company. Accordingly, the Board of Directors of CSPL & Power Finance Corporation Limited approved the closure of 4000 MW CSPL and striking off the name of the Company from the records of Registrar of Companies. Accordingly, necessary documents were filed with Registrar of Companies for striking off and dissolution of CSPL from records of Registrar.

 This has reference to your communication seeking clarification on news item captioned 'REC signs pact with PFC for FY 2022-23' appeared on www.livemint.com. As per MOU Guidelines issued by Department of Public Enterprises (DPE), from time to time, all CPSEs are required to sign Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) for each FY with the DPE/Holding Co. to undertake regular performance evaluation of CPSEs to assess their efficacy towards fulfilment of core objectives for which CPSEs are formed. Accordingly, in compliance of aforesaid guidelines & as a normal practice of signing of MoU with DPE/Holding Company on annual basis, PFC a Maharatna CPSE (being the Holding Company of REC Limited), has signed an MoU to set internal targets/ parameters for the FY 2022-23 of REC (PFCs Subsidiary Company) on Nov 29, 2022, as per the DPE Performance Evaluation System for CPSEs. Accordingly this is not a price sensitive information.

PFC logs highest ever quarterly profit of 5,229 cr in April-September
