IFGL Refractories Ltd - 540774 - Disclosure Under Regulation 30 Of The SEBI (Listing Obligations And Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2015

 Please be informed that effective beginning of the year 2024, manufacturing hitherto undertaken by Company's step-down subsidiary, Hofmann Ceramic CZ sro in Czech Republic (hereon 'Czech subsidiary') will be closed and relocated to premises of Company's step-down subsidiary, Hofmann Ceramic GmbH in Germany (hereon 'German subsidiary'). Both Czech and German subsidiaries are engaged in manufacture of Foundry Filters. Production at Czech subsidiary of small dimension Filters has been complementary to and provided cost advantages to German subsidiary. Of late said cost advantages primarily in terms of lower energy and labour costs have diminished to altogether also because of ongoing Ukraine Russia war. An expansion project at Germany subsidiary is expected to be completed in December, 2023 and it planned to consolidate Czech manufacturing thereat by creating higher capacity there. This will provide greater efficiency through process control, economy of scale and quality benefits.
