 With reference to your email dated 13.08.2021 the information is provided below: 1. Nature of fraud/default/arrest: - At this point in time, it is not known whether there is any fraud/default. At this point in time the Company has only received a notification from Government of Tamilnadu regarding action to be initiated for investigating further and to take necessary action relating to coal related transactions in 2013, which is based on the ongoing larger investigations by the Central Government agencies across the country. 2. Estimated impact on the listed entity; - Not yet quantified. 3. Time of occurrence;- 2013. 4. Person(s) involved; - Yet to be confirmed. 5. Estimated amount involved (if any); - Not yet quantified. 6. Whether such fraud/default/arrest has been reported to appropriate authorities. - As stated above, an internal inquiry has been proactively initiated as per TNPL's policies.
