Life Insurance Corporation of India - 543526 - Closure of Trading Window

 Pursuant to the SEBI (Prohibition of Insider Trading) Regulations, 2015 and Code of Conduct to Regulate, Monitor and Report Trading by Insiders of the Life Insurance Corporation of India ("the Corporation"), the trading window for the dealing in shares of the Corporation shall remain closed for the Insiders from April 01, 2024 till 48 hours after the conclusion of Board Meeting for consideration and approval of the Financial Results for the quarter and year ending March 31, 2024.

 In continuation of our earlier filing vide ref. no. LIC/SE/2023-24/152 dated 03, 2024, this is to inform that Life Insurance Corporation of India ("the Corporation") has filed an appeal before Commissioner (Appeals), Ahmedabad on March 26, 2024, against the order issued by Additional Commissioner, Central Goods & Service Tax, Gandhinagar, vide ref. no. ZD240124006643X which was received on January 03,2024. Appeal has been filed against the order demanding GST Rs. 19,64,584/- for FY 2017-18 and interest applicable on it along with penalty of Rs. 19,74,584/-.

 In continuation to our earlier filing vide ref. no.: LIC/SE/2023-24/152 dated January 03, 2024, this is to inform that Life Insurance Corporation of India has filed an appeal before Commissioner (Appeals), Chennai on March 20, 2024 against the order issued by Additional Commissioner, Office of the Commissioner of CGST & Central Excise, Chennai, North Commissionerate vide ref. no. ZD3301240064234 which was received on January 02, 2024. Appeal has been filed against the order demanding GST of Rs. 663,45,14,426/- and Interest applicable on it for FY 2017-18 & 2018-19.

Life Insurance Corporation of India - 543526 - Announcement Under Regulation 30 Of SEBI LODR - Clarification In Front Running Case

 This is to inform that SEBI vide its Order no. WTM/AN/ISD/ISD-SEC-2/30088/2023-24 dated March 19, 2024 issued a confirmatory order in respect to restrictions imposed by SEBI on few entities relating to our ex-employee Mr. Yogesh Garg in its interim order no. WTM/AN/ISD-SEC-2/25934/2023-24 dated April 27, 2023. In this regard, it is informed that Mr. Yogesh Garg was an employee in the cadre of Administrative Officer of the Life Insurance Corporation of India. He has been removed from the services of the Corporation following the due administrative procedure by the disciplinary authority consequent to his involvement in the front running. Further, it is informed that Corporation have a robust controlling monitoring mechanism along with best practices to prevent any kind of front running activity. All stringent measures for transactional hygiene of dealing room are put in place.
