This is with reference to earlier letter no. APL/SEC/32/2023-24/53 dated 26th October 2023, wherein it was informed to you that the Board of Directors of the Company, based on the recommendation of Nomination and Remuneration Committee and subject to approval of the shareholders of the Company, had unanimously approved the appointment of Mr. Soumitra Bhattacharya (DIN: 02783243) as an Additional and Independent Director of the Company for a period of five consecutive years with effect from 26th October 2023 to 25th October 2028. Approval of the shareholders of the Company was sought by Postal Ballot for the said appointment on the Board. The results of the Postal Ballot were announced today and shareholders have approved the appointment by requisite majority. You are requested to take the above information on record.22-12-2023
