 The Board of directors of the Company at their meeting held today, Friday 16th July, 2021 had inter-alia considered and approved the following matters; 1.Installation of 5 MW Solar Power Plant at Gangaikondan, Tirunelveli District on leasehold lands at an estimated cost of Rs.30 crores for the purpose of captive consumption, which would help the company to reduce its dependence of non-renewable sources of energy 2. Installation of new flour mill with a capacity of 1,20,000 MT per annum at Gangaikondan, Tirunelveli District at an estimated cost of Rs.50 crores. The new flour mill increase the existing capacity at food division of the company and help the company to meet the additional market demand in future. The disclosure as required under Regulation 30 read with SEBI Circular No. CIR/CFD/CMD/4/2015 dated 9th September, 2015 are also furnished.

 With reference to he above, may we invite your kind attention to our intimation letter dated 28th May, 2021 regarding temporary closure of the manufacturing operations of the Engineering Division of the Company in Coimbatore in line with the directives issued by the State Government authorities in view of the continuing COVID-19 pandemic. In this regard, based on new directives and guidelines issued by the Government of Tamil Nadu, we would like to inform you that the manufacturing operations of the Engineering Division have been resumed from 7th June, 2021. Further, we would like to reiterate that safety and health of our stakeholders including employees is of utmost importance to us, as such, necessary precautionary measures like conduct of vaccination drive, sanitation of work place / machinery, etc., have been taken up in line with the Standard Operation Procedures as issued by the Government authorities.
