Pursuant to Regulation 30 of SEBI (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements), Regulations 2015 read with SEBI Circular CIR/CFD/CMD/4/2015 dated September 09, 2015, we hereby inform you the following: (a) Fermenta Biotech Limited ('FBL' / 'the company') has received today a letter ('Letter') from CARE Ratings Limited ('CARE') informing the revision in FBL's Credit Rating. CARE's Rating Committee has revised the ratings. (b) The Letter, inter alia, mentions that the revision in the ratings assigned to the bank facilities of FBL is on account of moderation in the credit risk profile of the company owing to downturn in the business operations led by decline in the volumes of Vitamin D3 on the human nutrition business segment along with the slowdown in the animal nutrition segment. This has led to deterioration in operating and financial performance of the company in FY22 (refers to the period from April 01 to March 31) and 9MFY23.
